HOW THE ASSESSMENT WORKS

Transparent by design

The site separates demand, visible game sessions, official statements, platform dependencies, and player reports.

Four independent signals

Steam players are running clients reported by Valve for app 1867240. Server players are players visible in a cached community session feed supplied by MetaForge. They are different measurements and are never merged.

Official dispatches come from WARDOGS Steam Community announcements. Field reports are anonymous, structured submissions from this site.

Status rules

Official active maintenance takes precedence. A major outage requires an official confirmation or at least two independent severe signals. A single stale collector never turns the site red. Regional losses, elevated reports, Epic dependency trouble, or exhausted capacity produce a degraded assessment.

Freshness and failure

Every source carries its last successful time. Old data becomes stale, then unavailable. Last-known values stay visible with their age; zero is never substituted for missing telemetry.

Community server data

The MetaForge endpoint is not an official WARDOGS feed. It may change or disappear. This implementation validates and caches it behind the server API so the rest of the site continues when it fails.

Limits

This is an independent observation service. It cannot test your PC, ISP, account, anti-cheat installation, or every private session. Always consult official WARDOGS channels for authoritative maintenance instructions.
